Welcome to Ankeny High School! My name is Mrs. Holly Wulkow Anderson. I currently serve as a Physical Education teacher at Ankeny High School. My teaching career began in 1997 at Mason City High School where I taught physical education and health. In 2005 I accepted a physical education teaching position here in Ankeny at Northview Middle School and now am at Ankeny High School. 

I am a 1993 graduate of Boone High School and attended Wartburg College from 1993-1997. I graduated with a double major in Exercise Sciences/Fitness Management and Physical Education with endorsements in health and coaching. I completed my Masters Degree in Educational Administration in 2002 from Iowa State University. I have coached numerous sports in the past and currently am one of the Student Council sponsors at Ankeny High School. 

In my spare time I love spending time with my daughter Olivia(7), son Reed (3), husband Taylor and other family and friends. I enjoy the outdoors, time at the lake, exercising, shopping, gardening, cooking and making jewelry. We love the community of Ankeny and all that is has to offer our family.
 
It is an exciting time to be an Ankeny Hawk! Change is happening at a fast pace and we continue to provide excellence in education to all students. We have great kids in Ankeny and I have the priviledge to work with them each day. It is my job to provide students with guidance and leadership while I assist them in learning the skills they need to be productive, healthy citizens.
